Resin Cement Grout

Applied on interior and exterior walls and floors, resin-cement grout can be used with porcelain and ceramic tiles as well as glass mosaic, natural stone, marble and composite materials, even thin tiles. This blended grout of epoxy resin and cement is easy to apply with the added benefit of being non-porous, resilient and fine-grained.

Please note that currently #20 Limestone is out of stock and not expected to be available until July 2023.
Containing unique Rock-Tite™ polymeric binders the enhanced flexibility of the grout allows a greater range of fixing possibilities normally only achieved by the addition of separate admixtures. Norcros Flexible Wide Joint Tile Grout can be used in both internal and external conditions and in fully immersed conditions such as pools. It is water resistant but not impervious to the passage of water, in situations where the background needs to be protected against water ingress the use of Norcros Wet Seal Tanking Kit should be considered. Where an impervious grout joint is required Norcros Super Epoxy Grout should be used.
Suitable for porcelain tiles, ceramics, low thickness slabs and natural stone
Easy to clean and maintain
High colour uniformity
Full and smooth joint
Eliminates the risk of salt and lime efflorescence formation
Suitable for underfloor heating systems

Flexible Wide Joint Tile Grout

Norcros Flexible Wide Joint Tile Grout is a hard wearing, water and weather resistant tiling grout. It is suitable for joint widths of 2-20mm and for grouting between all types of wall and floor tiles including porcelain.

1kg will fill joints of approximately 0.66m² of 100mm x 100mm x 8mm tiles with 5mm wide joints or 2.5m² of 330mm x 330mm x 9mm tiles with 4mm spacing.

(Width + Length) x Joint Width x Tile Depth x Specific Gravity = kg/m2
Width x Length
i.e. The calculation for a 300mm x 300mm tile, 10mm thick with a 9mm joint width is:

(300 x 300) x 9 x 10 x 1.8 = 97,200 =1.08kg/m2
300 x 300 = 90,000
Using a soft rubber grout float apply the material with diagonal sweeping movements to the grout joints, taking care to fully compress the grout into the full depth of the joints. Work in manageable areas, and clean off any residues when the grout has begun to firm up in the joints but not before it sets on the tile face. Cleaning with a damp and not overly wet clean foam rubber sponge will provide best results. Changing the cleaning water as it becomes contaminated with grout residues will also aid cleaning. When the grout has set, any remaining grout film can be polished off the surface with a clean damp cloth.

N.B. Do not over wet the grout as this will result in a weakened grout joint and can also cause efflorescence, a white soluble salt, to form on the surface of the finished grout joint.
