Samples

We are happy to supply samples of our stone for you to take away. However, please remember that with all natural materials there will be some vairation in colour and markings from batch to batch. We advise all customers to view samples from current stock and also, where possible, to buy a full sized stone tile from current stock before making your final decision.

Making a Purchase

Once you have decided on your choice of stone and the quantity you require, we advise adding an additional 10% to your order to allow for cutting and wastage. This ensures all of your stone comes from one batch meaning continuity of colour and quality. If additional stones are required at a later date, we cannot guarantee the same batch will still be available.

We accept all major debit and credit cards, bank transfers and cheques (if cleared prior to despatch). There are no surcharges for debit cards, bank transfers or cheques. Credit cards incur a 2% fee to cover the costs we incur for processing them.

Delivery

Deliveries will take place 5 working days after any outstanding balance on your order has been paid, unless otherwise agreed. To help us be prompt and cost effective we will deliver your order through a national pallet line service. Effectively this is a group of companies, which provide a delivery network across the whole country, so you dont have to wait until the next time we are in your area.

It is important to note that the driver will have come from your local depot, it is unlikely that they will have personally collected your order from us or have any specific knowledge of the product. Each consignment will be packed within a wooden case and may weigh upto 1 ton in weight. The driver will ask you to sign for receipt of the pallet.

The delivery lorry will be fitted with a ‘tail lift’ and will carry a small manual fork lift with which to manoeuvre pallets from the tail lift to the ground. If there is help on site and the ground is firm and level they may be able to move the pallets a short distance to a convenient storage space. If not they will leave them at the nearest possible ‘accessible’ point of access. The fork lift will not be able to manoeuvre over any soft ground, up any steps or through any narrow gates.

If you are unavailable on the day of delivery we would strongly advise arranging delivery dates to coincide with builders / fitters being present on site who can help oversee the drop off or move the stone to a suitable place if required.

If you feel there may be any problems with access, for example: long narrow tracks to your house, then please make us aware of this when placing your order as this may affect your delivery.

Returns Policy

Any products found to be defective must be notified within 48 hours of receipt of goods. We will be happy to offer you a refund or replacements.

Tax Charges

VAT at 17.5% is NOT included in prices shown on this website.
